These pieces were created during a graphics design workshop where we were tasked with designing UI and GUI elements for a fictional game within a 90-minute time limit. I chose Grog’s Calling as the basis for my work, building on its prehistoric theme.
The images showcase:
-Main Menu Screen: Featuring a rough background and initial layout for the game’s navigation, emphasizing simplicity and immersion in the prehistoric setting.
-In-Game Screen: Includes the same background as the main menu, integrated with GUI elements like health bars, and a minimap, adapting a minimalistic style to keep the player focused on gameplay.
-UI Sheet: A collection of core elements, designed to fit the game’s visual identity.
-UI Variations: Two alternative layouts exploring different approaches to shape language.
This workshop demonstrated my ability to work efficiently under time constraints while maintaining creativity and attention to detail. It highlights my adaptability and skill in crafting visually cohesive interfaces that align with a game's tone and functionality.
